G-Unit is an American hip hop group from New York created by 50 Cent. The name of the Hip Hop group is short for Guerilla Unit - the Band / team is 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo which know each other from the youth. Rapper 50 Cent due to the success with his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin', he became his his own record label. This was when G-Unit Records was created. I always thought they mention there name to much and there videos are mostly like "look at us money is everything that matters" at such times I miss Public Enemy or Eric B and Rakim.
